Welcome to "To Be Daniella"
Welcome to "To Be Daniella," a space where I blend my passions for photography, storytelling, travel, and luxury hospitality. As a proud Haitian woman, devoted mother and grandmother, and a Libra who loves all things bubbly, this blog is a reflection of my life’s most cherished moments. Here, I’ll share personal stories, travel adventures, and the stunning visuals that bring these tales to life.
Why This Blog?
To Be Daniella is a space for real moments, real emotions, and stories that reflect the beauty—and sometimes the mess—of life as a woman fully showing up.
I created this blog not just to share my world, but to connect with yours. Whether I’m writing about travel, family, work, photography, or self-care, my hope is that you see a bit of yourself in these pages. The joy, the doubts, the glow-up moments, the quiet mornings, the unexpected adventures—this is what makes life rich and meaningful.
As a photographer, hotel professional, Nana, and woman in her prime, I move through many worlds—but at the heart of it all, I’m just like you: navigating it with love, laughter, and a deep desire to live fully and honestly. This blog is where I share those in-between moments—the ones that don’t always make it to social media but hold the most truth.
So whether you come here for travel tips, spa recommendations, a peek into my creative work, or simply to be reminded that you’re not alone—you’re welcome. This is a place for connection, inspiration, and the courage to keep evolving.
My Recent Adventure – A Family Trip to Japan
I began 2025 with a family trip to Japan, a whirlwind of culture, love, and unforgettable memories. With 19 adults and 2 children, the trip was as lively as it was heartwarming. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the serene beaches of Okinawa, this journey brought together multiple generations to celebrate family and culminate in a beautiful wedding.
But let’s start at the beginning. In a future post, I’ll share tips on organizing a trip for 21 people, balancing the needs of kids, older family members, and everyone in between—all while preparing for a much-anticipated wedding in Okinawa. Stay Tuned!
